Sarah Lehr

Sarah Lehr is an accomplished journalist specializing in government and political reporting. Currently serving as a state government reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio since September 2022, Sarah previously held the position of politics reporter at WKAR at Michigan State University, where stories reached over 10 million listeners on National Public Radio. Sarah's extensive experience includes serving as a city government watchdog reporter for the Lansing State Journal, where enterprise coverage focused on local and state politics, municipal finance, and the cannabis industry. Early career roles involved reporting on local government and community issues at The Vindicator Printing Company, as well as editorial leadership positions at The Kenyon Collegian. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Kenyon College and has pursued professional development at the Poynter Institute.
