Wisconsin Racing spends each fall semester designing new vehicles, constantly searching for ways to improve performance and increase reliability. During the winter months, the team develops the vehicle with comprehensive manufacturing processes. In this phase, the team works tirelessly to build and test the vehicles, continuously resolving any issues that arise. Everything comes together for the first competition of the year, FSAE Michigan, in early May, and the electric competition, FSAE Lincoln, in June.

The Engineering Team at Wisconsin Racing is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-performance vehicles. Each engineer specializes in different aspects of the vehicle, such as chassis, powertrain, aerodynamics, and electric drivetrain, working collaboratively to optimize performance and reliability. During the fall, they focus on design, while in the winter, they shift to manufacturing and rigorous testing to prepare for competitions in May and June.
