Katy Pettersen

Katy Pettersen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing and strategic advancement within educational and economic development sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Advancement for the Wisconsin Technical College System since October 2016, Katy oversees initiatives that promote technical education and customized instruction for employers, impacting over 250,000 students annually. Additionally, Katy has directed the Statewide Marketing Consortium to foster collaboration among Wisconsin's technical colleges. Previous roles include a temporary marketing position with the Madison Region Economic Partnership and nearly 12 years as Vice President of Marketing at Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. Katy began their career as a Sales Manager at Kalahari Resort and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Upper Iowa University.
