Amanda Shaon

Amanda Shaon, M.S. is a Long-Term Care Ombudsman at WISE & Healthy Aging since August 2020. Previously, Amanda worked as a Senior Care Manager at Always Best Care Senior Services from November 2016 to June 2020 and as a Residential Care Counselor at the Center for Discovery from September 2005 to October 2016. Amanda provided care to clients of all ages with mental health issues, completed documentation, worked in a multi-disciplinary team, provided crisis management, and led therapeutic groups. Amanda holds a Master's Degree in Gerontology from California State University, Long Beach.
