WISE & Healthy Aging
Mary A. is an experienced Elder Victim Advocate at WISE & Healthy Aging. Mary also worked as a Long Term Care Ombudsman at OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center, Clinical Social Worker Trainee at AltaMed Health Services, and MSW Trainee at 1736 Family Crisis Center. Mary has a diverse background in social work, including roles as a Field Interviewer at SAMHSA, Afterschool Tutor at Youth Policy Institute, and Classroom Observer at Juarez & Associates. Mary holds a Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Chicano/a Studies from UC Santa Barbara.

WISE and Healthy Aging offers a range of services to older people, as well as to those who are caring for them, including mobility and transportation programs, adult day services, and financial and legal advice. Their service includes adult day service, care management, caregiver resources, club wise, community resources, elder abuse prevention,peer counseling, long-term care ombudsman, training, education, transportation, and diner program.
