Jennifer Southworth

Vice President, Client Services, Ceridian Division; Board Member at Wise Consulting Associates

Jennifer Southworth has a diverse work experience spanning more than two decades. Jennifer started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Fisher Foods in 1997. Jennifer then worked as an Assistant Treasurer at Osnaburg Local Schools from 1999 to 2001, where they were responsible for payroll processing, accounts payable, and assisting with budgeting and reporting.

In 2002, Jennifer joined Lynchburg City Schools as a Payroll Specialist. Jennifer handled payroll processing for a large number of employees and implemented the Kronos AS400 Time & Attendance application. Jennifer configured pay rules and the Kronos application according to the organization's pay practices.

In 2006, Jennifer joined Wise Consulting Associates, where they held multiple roles over the years. Jennifer started as a Consultant, providing client support for time and attendance systems implementation and management. Jennifer also managed annual benefit open enrollment and trained end-users. In 2012, they became a Manager, Consulting Services, specializing in software implementations on the Ceridian Dayforce product. Jennifer contributed to project management, implementation consulting, team development/training, methodology development, project completion, and resourcing. After that, they served as a Practice Operations Manager from 2018 to 2019, and currently holds the position of Vice President, Client Services, Ceridian Division; Board Member. In this role, they oversee a team of implementation consultants, manages the practice budget, develops initiatives for operational/team growth, works with clients to fulfill project needs, and develops strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Throughout their career, Jennifer Southworth has gained extensive experience in payroll processing, time and attendance system implementation, team management, and client services.

Jennifer Southworth's education history begins in 1994 when they attended The Ohio State University. Jennifer studied Electrical Engineering at the university until 1996. In 2003, they enrolled at Central Virginia Community College, where they pursued a field of study in Business/Accounting for a year.

From 2014 to 2018, Jennifer attended Liberty University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management and CMIS.

In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has also acquired certifications from Smartsheet. In September 2018, they became a Smartsheet Certified User, and in May 2020, they obtained the Smartsheet Product Certified User certification.
