Shannon Croft

Shannon Croft has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on education and development. Shannon worked as the Director of Corporate Development at Wise Health System from December 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Education and Organizational Development at Medical City Healthcare (formerly HCA North Texas) from January 2016 to December 2017. Shannon also worked as the Magnet Program Director and Professional Development Specialist at Baylor Scott & White Health from October 2014 to April 2016. Before entering the healthcare field, they worked at the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning as a Health Science Technology Educator, RN from July 2011 to January 2015. Shannon gained early experience at Baylor Scott & White Health and HCA as a Women's Services Resource Nurse & Technician from March 2008 to January 2012. Shannon began their career at Tri Steel as an Operations Executive Associate from July 2002 to September 2006.

Shannon Croft has a diverse educational background. Shannon obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Education from Louisiana Christian University between 2013 and 2014. Shannon then furthered their education by enrolling in the American College of Education from 2020 to 2024, where they are currently working towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Shannon has a background in nursing and holds a Registered Nurse certification from Stephen F. Austin State University from 2003 to 2006.

In terms of certifications, Shannon Croft holds a Baldrige Examiner certification from the Quality Texas Foundation-QTF, which they obtained in June 2021. Shannon also has a Health Science Education Certification from the Texas Education Agency. Furthermore, Shannon possesses a certification in Fundamentals of Magnet through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
