WISE
Chiara Groppi began their work experience in 2022 as a Process Engineer at WISE S.r.l. Prior to this, they worked at Politecnico di Milano from 2019 to 2022. During this time, they were involved in a research project with Milan Politecnico/STMicroelectronics and served as a co-supervisor of a Master Thesis in Engineering Physics. Chiara also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Bachelor degree students. In 2022, Chiara completed an internship at the University of Groningen.
Chiara Groppi's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from Liceo Classico Cesare Beccaria between the years 2008 and 2013. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics at Politecnico di Milano from 2013 to 2016. Chiara then went on to complete a Master's degree in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Nanophysics and Nanotechnologies at the same institution from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are in the process of obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Physics at Politecnico di Milano, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete by 2022.
WISE
WISE (Wiringless Implantable Stretchable Electronics) is a start-up company created in 2011 with the mission of producing the new generation of leads for neuromodulation for treatment of chronic pain and Parkinson: unbreakable, less invasive and cheaper.
