Kathleen Traynor Derose

Kathleen Traynor Derose is a Senior Advisor at Wiserfunding. Kathleen has over thirty years of experience in the financial industry.

Kathleen started their career at Chase Manhattan Bank as a Vice President and then moved to Deutsche Bank where they became Managing Director. In 2003, they joined Bessemer Trust as Managing Director.

At Deutsche Bank, they were responsible for business strategy and solutions as well as investment strategy and research. In this role, they were also Global Head of Investment Process.

In 2006, they joined Hagin Investment Management, a hedge fund, as Senior Managing Partner and Head of Portfolio Management and Research. During their time at the firm, they were one of only 3% of hedge funds with a woman portfolio manager.

Kathleen left Hagin in 2010 to join Credit Suisse as Managing Director. At Credit Suisse, they served as Head of Business Strategy and Solutions and Investment Strategy & Research.

In 2015, they joined Voya Financial as a Senior Advisor. Kathleen is currently a Senior Advisor at Wiserfunding.

Kathleen Traynor Derose has a Master's Degree in Contemporary Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, an MBA-global from TRIUM: LSE, HEC, NYU Stern, and a BA in American Kathleen'story-US China from Princeton University. Kathleen also has a certification from FINRA in Series 63 and from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 7.
