Sumita Tandon

Sumita Tandon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sumita is currently the Head of Software Engineering at Wisk, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ACSS as the Director of the Chief Engineers Office from November 2018 to July 2021. Sumita also has experience at United Technologies, where they held various roles such as Associate Director of Shared Services, Senior Manager of Process Assurance and Continuous Improvement, Engineering Manager of Project Management, and Software Engineering Manager. Sumita started working at United Technologies in 2013 and left in October 2018. Before that, they worked at Hamilton Sundstrand, where they had an expatriate assignment as On-Site Software Manager in Bangalore, India, and also held the positions of Staff Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Sumita's career began at GE Transportation Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on software development for embedded controllers and displays for locomotives. Prior to that, they worked at LeTourneau, Inc as an Electronics Engineer and at CDOT as a Research Engineer, where they were involved in software development for real-time embedded systems.

Sumita Tandon completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 1991 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Executive Master of Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management during 2015 and 2016.
