Hylke Havinga

Hylke Havinga currently serves as an Advisor for Renewable Energy Projects at Ventolines since March 2023 and has been a Junior Content Manager, Junior Content Redacteur, and Junior auteur at WisMon onderwijsinstituut since May 2021. Hylke is also a Researcher at Utrecht University until June 2024, recognized as the first author of the scientific paper "Collaboration or competition? Interactions between floating and fixed-bottom offshore wind in Norway" published in the journal Environmental Innovation and Sustainable Transition. Previous experience includes a Graduate Internship and Research role at SINTEF Digital, focusing on floating wind development in Norway, and a Graduate Internship at SeaQurrent®, where Hylke developed a scenario-based maintenance plan for the Tidalkite. Earlier positions involve a Gas Station Cashier at TOTAL, Student Researcher at Van Hulley, and Research Intern at Swedish Match, where Hylke contributed to optimizing packaging machine setup using the SMED methodology. Hylke holds a Master's degree in Innovation Sciences and Bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Hanze University and a pre-master's degree from Utrecht University.
