Brian Austin has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and industries. Brian started their career at BetzDearborn as a Customer Service representative in 2000 and later moved on to GE Betz for a similar role in 2001. In 2002, they joined the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services, where they initially worked as a Marketing & Member Services associate, responsible for email campaigns, graphic design, and other promotional activities. Brian then transitioned into the role of a System Administrator, where they provided support for CentOS production servers, troubleshooting various technical issues, and managing user accounts.
In 2008, Brian began working as a freelance Graphic Designer, offering their design services on a project basis. Later, in 2013, they joined Wisper Internet as a Systems Administrator, where they maintained IT infrastructure, managed virtual machines and servers, and oversaw various improvement projects. Brian eventually became the IT Operations Manager, accountable for administering the company's extensive IT resources, handling emergencies, and leading IT enhancement initiatives. Brian has a strong background in IT operations and support, alongside experience in graphic design and customer service.
Brian Austin has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. In addition, they have an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Lansing Community College.
