Luis J. Montaner is currently the VP of Scientific Operations at WISTAR INSTITUTE OF ANATOMY & BIOLOGY. Luis has previously worked at Martin Delaney Collaborative for an HIV Cure, The Wistar Institiute, Society of Leukocyte Biology, and LADY MARGARET HALL, OXFORD UNIVERSITY. At LADY MARGARET HALL, OXFORD UNIVERSITY, they served as E.P.A. Cephalosporin Junior Research Faculty from January 1994 to September 1995. Prior to that, they worked at University of Oxford, UK as Sir William Dunn School of Pathology from September 1991 to September 1995.

Luis J. Montaner received their D.Phil. in Immunopathology from the University of Oxford. Luis also holds a B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine & Viral Immunopathology from Kansas State University, as well as an M.Sc. in the same field from the same school.
