Gene Chuang is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in networking and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as the Networking Chief Technology Officer at Wistron Neweb Corporation since June 2013, Gene has previously held prominent roles including Director of the Broadband Wireless Division at the Industrial Technology Research Institute from August 2006 to May 2013, and R&D Vice President at CheerTek, which merged with Novatek. Gene co-founded Trumpion Microelectronics, Inc. and served as R&D Vice President until April 2005. Earlier in the career, Gene was Chief Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, formerly Philips Semiconductor, from August 1987 to July 1998. Gene holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science from National Chiao Tung University, and a Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
