Chris Howell

Chris Howell has a long and varied work experience. In 2005, they began their career as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. In 2012, they transitioned to a Web Developer role at Our Precious Pups. In 2017, they joined Treehouse as a Student Success Specialist, where they reviewed over 500 student unit projects written in Python, Flask and Django, helped QA and revise over 12 teacher-produced degree projects and built custom tooling and reports for their team. In 2020, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at Code Platoon, and in 2021 they began working as a Software Developer at WitFoo.

Chris Howell's education history includes attending Rogue Community College from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) in Computer Software Engineering and an Associates of Applied Science in Web Development. In 2016, they completed a Python TechDegree from Treehouse. In 2017, they obtained a Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity. Most recently, in 2020, they attended Code Platoon for Full Stack Development. Chris Howell has also obtained several certifications, including a Precinct Certified Engineer and Precinct Certified User from WitFoo in 2021, as well as certifications from LinkedIn in 2019 and a Python Web Development Techdegree from Treehouse in 2016.
