Andy Markov

Andy Markov has a diverse work experience in various industries. Andy started their career at Sutter Health in 2004, where they served as a UX/UI professional responsible for the company's web growth strategies and content. Andy then moved to Intel Security in 2010, working as the Director of UX/UI for the SMB unit. In 2011, they joined PENSCO Trust as the Sr. Director of User Experience and Digital, where they led the efforts to digitize investment banking processes and implement self-service UX for banking software and applications. In 2013, they joined TiVo as the Sr. Director of User Experience, leading a team in innovating cutting-edge user experiences aligned with the company's strategic decisions. Following this, they worked at PlayStation Network as a User Experience Design Executive, responsible for product design and user experience strategy for Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation. In 2016, they joined NETGEAR as the Head of User Experience Design and Research, working on shifting the company towards design thinking and software subscription services. Moving forward, they joined various companies in different roles, including AREVO as an Investor, MOV Automotive Ltd. as a Board Member and Executive Vice President of Digital Business, Ignite Venture Funds as a Partner and VC, and finally, Within Inc. as the CEO and Board Member. Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated expertise in product design, user experience, and leadership roles within the technology and healthcare industries.

Andy Markov earned an Associate of Science degree in Photography from Northern Virginia Community College, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic Media & American Literature at The George Washington University from 1998 to 2003.
