Pieter Hogeveen

Pieter Hogeveen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Pieter started their career as a Student Assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where they gained experience in statistics, research methodology, and ICT. Pieter then interned at Philips Consumer Lifestyle, specifically in the Innovation & Development Process Office.

Pieter joined Imtech N.V as a Management Trainee in their Young Capital Program, where they worked in different divisions and received management development training. Following this, they worked at Deloitte Nederland as a Consultant in Project, Programme, and Portfoliomanagement. Here, they played a strategic role in delivering projects and programmes for complex organizations.

Pieter later joined Monitor Deloitte as a Senior Consultant in Innovation Management, assisting clients in developing their innovation strategies and capabilities. Pieter then transitioned to The Greenery, where they held multiple roles. Pieter first worked as the Manager of Innovation, establishing an innovation function and delivering new products and services. Later, they became the Manager of Innovation and Sustainability, leading digital innovation and sustainability initiatives during a restructuring period.

Currently, Pieter is the Head of Projects at Withthegrid, a scale-up company providing an asset monitoring platform and real-time cloud control of energy assets. Pieter is responsible for initiating and realizing consulting projects to develop new product categories and customer segments.

Throughout their career, Pieter has demonstrated a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and building teams to drive digital transformation.

Pieter Hogeveen's education history is as follows:

Pieter first attended Secondary School VWO Christelijk College Groevenbeek from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained their VWO degree with a specialization in Nature & Technology + Economics.

Pieter then pursued higher education at Landstede Educatie in Harderwijk from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Mathematics B1, 2, and Chemistry 1, 2, earning their VWO degree.

Pieter subsequently enrolled at the University of Groningen from 2005 to 2007 and completed a Propaedeutic Degree in Technology Management.

Continuing their studies at the University of Groningen from 2006 to 2010, Pieter obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Business & Management.

Following their undergraduate studies, Pieter attended the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Faculty of Business from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business.

Lastly, Pieter pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in the Management of Innovation, at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Pieter obtained several certifications. These include a Sustainability MBA in a day from CKC Seminars - Kennis met Beleving in October 2021, an Innovation Driver/Leading Innovation Excellence Programme from the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship in September 2019, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Deloitte in 2015, a Management of Portfolios (MoP) Foundation certification from Oppidum in 2015, a Managing Benefits Foundation certification from Oppidum in 2014, a Managing Successful Programmes Foundation (MSP) certification from Oppidum in 2014, a PRINCE2 Foundation certification from APMG-International in 2014, and a Portfolio, Programme en Project Office (P3O) Foundation certification from Oppidum in 2014.
