Christos Georgoulis

Christos Georgoulis is a Senior Associate Data Engineer at WITSIDE since June 2023 and serves as a Data Science & Engineering Instructor at Big Blue Data Academy from September 2023. Previously, Christos held the position of Big Data Engineer at Digital Commerce Intelligence, where responsibilities included setting up Apache Airflow pipelines and maintaining ETL processes using pyspark and dbt. Prior experience as a Data Engineer at Kotronis Packaging involved establishing a Data Management System and batch processing, along with an earlier role as a Junior Data Engineer focusing on MES implementation for production floor digitalization. Christos started as a Data Engineer Trainee, working on data management systems for Operational Business Intelligence, and began a career in engineering with a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics from the University of Patras from 2014 to 2021, alongside an internship as a Rolling Stock Engineer at ATTIKO METRO.
