Emily is a recognized expert in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery bringing over 15 years of leading and advising government and community organizations in inclusive service delivery. Emily has a legacy of achieving exceptional results while building partnerships in high-stress high-stake environments. She has routinely collaborated at all levels of government to plan and coordinate delivery of life saving and sustaining services during times of emergencies.

Prior to joining Witt O’Brien’s, Emily served as the Disaster Officer for the American Red Cross in Louisiana. A thought leader and innovator, Emily can be credited with directing and leading numerous national-level response and recovery operations. Emily has extensive experience with FEMA recovery programs and served as a policy advisor for the Public Assistance Program on several large scale disaster recovery operations such as Hurricane Katrina and Superstorm Sandy.
