Christopher Leapley

Christopher Leapley is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Counsel at Root Inc. since January 2024 and as a Mock Trial Coach, Pre Law Advisor, and Faculty member at Wittenberg University since March 2023. Previously, Christopher held the position of Claims Litigation Attorney at Tokio Marine HCC and served as a Senior Claims Specialist at Hiscox USA. With extensive expertise in corporate law, Christopher has acted as Corporate Legal Counsel for Fuyao Group and worked as a Claims Attorney for AmeriTrust Group, handling litigated claims in various sectors. Additionally, Christopher was General Counsel for HUTN, Inc., managing legal matters for a fin-tech startup. Earlier in the career, Christopher worked as a civil litigator at Martin, Browne, Hull & Harper and gained experience as an Attorney at WilmerHale and an Associate at Freund Freeze & Arnold. Christopher holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/International Studies from Wright State University.
