Carlos Talamantes

Carlos Talamantes has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. From 2015, they served as the Managing Director at Witzenmann Mexico, where they were responsible for the start-up of metallic flexible elements for automotive exhaust systems. Carlos managed all aspects of the business, including financials, operations, quality, HR, supply management, and logistics.

Prior to that, Carlos worked at John Deere from 1998 to 2015. Carlos held multiple roles during their tenure, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Production Control Manager, Product Engineering Manager, Global Functional Group Leader for Chassis, and Quality Engineer. In these roles, they oversaw various functions such as manufacturing engineering, production control, product engineering, and quality analysis. Carlos also coordinated and executed business plans, supported strategic growth initiatives, managed capital budgets, and led global projects for tractors.

Carlos has demonstrated expertise in problem-solving techniques, reducing scrap and rework, and translating customer requirements into engineering specifications. Carlos has worked with diverse teams and stakeholders, including customers like VW, Tenneco, Mercedes, Forvia, Stellantis, and Hyundai/Kia.

Carlos Talamantes completed their high school education at Colegio La Salle de Monclova from 1991 to 1993. Carlos then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Later, from 2006 to 2012, Carlos pursued a Masters degree in Engineering, Quality & Productivity, also from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
