Katrin Hain has a diverse work experience in various companies. In 2017, they worked as a Werkstudent in the Bauteilabsicherung Prototypen-Aggregateentwicklung department at Daimler AG, both as a Werkstudent (from May to August) and Praktikant (from September to February). In 2019, they became a Fulbright-Stipendiatin at the German-American Fulbright Commission. Katrin then joined Bosch as a Praktikantin in the Logistik department from September 2019 to January 2020. In 2020, Katrin worked at UNITY as a Werkstudentin in the Smart Factory & Logistics department from October to December. Currently, they are employed by Witzenmann Group as a Referentin Innovation & Marketing, starting in October 2021.
Katrin Hain began their education by completing a Bachelor's degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Business Engineering) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2014 to 2018. Katrin then continued their studies at KIT and obtained a Master's degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Business Engineering) from 2018 to 2021. During their Master's program, they also engaged in a Master's thesis at the Institute of Product Engineering at KIT, focusing on Digitalisierung in der Produktentwicklung (Digitalization in Product Development). In 2020, they participated in an exchange program at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they studied Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen M.Sc. (Business Engineering) abroad. In 2019, they attended the Leaders in Entrepreneurship program at Louisiana State University.
