Amanda Hamon

Amanda Hamon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amanda currently holds the position of Senior Designer at Wizards of the Coast's D&D Studio, where they started in December 2020. Prior to this, they were the Editorial Director at Kobold Press from July 2020 to December 2020. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Paizo Inc. as the Managing Developer for the Starfinder RPG, where they managed a team of designers and developers while also completing development work for the game. Before entering the gaming industry, Amanda worked as a Writer/Editor at Purdue University from 2012 to 2015. Amanda also has experience in journalism, having worked as a City Reporter at Journal & Courier Media Group from 2009 to 2012, a Pulliam Fellow at The Indianapolis Star in 2009, and a General Assignment/Health and Science Reporter at The Ann Arbor News from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they have held freelance positions such as a game designer, developer, and editor for various publishers starting in 2012. Amanda's early career included roles as a Freelance Writer for Eastern Michigan University Publications in 2008 and Editor in Chief at The Eastern Echo from 2005 to 2007.

Amanda Hamon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Eastern Michigan University between the years 2005 and 2009.
