Dave Geyer

Dave Geyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dave started their career as a Freelance Production Design & Management professional, providing services for theater, music, and dance companies. Dave then worked as a Lighting Supervisor and Stage Manager for One Reel, where they were responsible for implementing lighting designs and managing staging for events such as Teatro Zinzanni and the Bumbershoot music festival.

Dave then joined The Production Network as an Account Manager, Project Manager, and eventually as a Producer. In this role, they were involved in the design, planning, and execution of high-profile live events, including the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. Dave also managed budgets and provided technical support for these events.

After that, Dave worked at VML and later Wunderman Seattle as a Senior Project Manager. Dave managed customer retention marketing campaigns for T-Mobile USA and played a key role in growing the client base.

Most recently, Dave joined Wizards of the Coast as a Senior Game Producer. Dave has been responsible for overseeing the production of the Magic: The Gathering tabletop games portfolio. Dave has also played a vital role in the transition to remote and hybrid team collaboration structures. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership skills, efficient project management, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Dave Geyer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Northern Colorado, which they attended from 1991 to 1995. In December 2019, they also obtained a certification as a Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet.
