Eugene Evans has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming and digital entertainment industry. Eugene has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Eugene started their career in 2010 as an Executive Advisory Board Member for the George Mason Computer Game Design Program. Eugene played a key role in advising the board on curriculum and making industry connections.

In 2013, Evans became a Strategic Advisor for DivvyCloud, a startup that provides software for optimizing hybrid cloud-based infrastructure. Eugene advised the company on business development and marketing until the company was acquired by Rapid7 in 2020.

Evans also worked as a Senior Advisor for VisiSonics Corporation from 2014 to 2018. Eugene was impressed by the company's expertise in 3D audio technology and helped them capture and recreate realistic 3D audio experiences.

In 2017, Evans took on multiple advisory roles. Eugene became an Advisor for Opera Event, a Strategic Advisor for HypGames, Inc., and an Advisory Board Member for Estarz. Eugene provided strategic guidance and support to these esports and gaming-related companies.

Evans also worked as a Strategic Advisor for TriplePoint, a communications company specializing in gaming, and as a Consulting Executive for Digital Development Management. In these roles, they provided strategic support and partnerships for clients in the gaming industry.

In 2018, they joined Wizards of the Coast as the VP of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. Eugene then moved up to become the SVP of Business Development & Digital Licensing, responsible for digital licensing of the Hasbro portfolio of games and brands.

Outside of their roles, Evans also runs Infinite Ventures Inc., where they serve as the Founding Principal. Through this company, they provide investments, advisory roles, and consulting services to start-ups and divisions of large companies in the gaming and digital entertainment landscape.

From 1980 to 1987, Eugene Evans attended the School of Hard Knocks (Google it!) where they pursued a degree in Separation, earning two degrees within this field of study.
