Francesca Baerald

Francesca Baerald is a self-employed freelance artist and cartographer with 10 years of experience. Francesca has worked on internationally published games and books for companies such as Square Enix, Blizzard, Wizards of the Coast, Fantasy Flight Games, Games Workshop, Dark Horse, Paizo, Harper Collins, and Penguin Random House. Their preferred media are traditional, using watercolour, ink, acrylic, and oil.

In 2020, Francesca joined Blizzard Entertainment as an artist. Francesca also worked as an artist and cartographer for Wizards of the Coast and CMON Limited in the same year.

Before that, in 2018, Francesca was an artist at Erik's Curiosa and Games Workshop Ltd. Francesca also worked as a map artist for Cephalofair Games and as a cartographer for Simon and Schuster from 2018 to 2023.

Francesca worked as an artist at Spin Master from 2022 to 2023. Additionally, they were a cartographer at Heroic Signatures from January 2023 to June 2023.

Francesca Baerald obtained their diploma in Specializzazione Linguistica from Liceo Scientifico in the period from 1995 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in Illustration, specializing in the same field, at Scuola Internazionale Comics from 2010 to 2013.
