Ilse Gort

Ilse Gort is a freelance illustrator with experience working for various companies and authors. Ilse started their freelance illustration career in 2009 and has worked with multiple authors and publishers as a cover artist. In 2015, they worked as a full-time freelance illustrator at MediaMonks. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an illustrator for Open Legend RPG, and from 2016 to 2016, they worked as a character and creature artist for Vulcan Design Forge. In 2018, they worked as a freelance illustrator for Fogbank Entertainment and Valve Corporation, where they created card art for Artifact. Ilse also worked as an illustrator for Humblewood from 2019 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a card artist for Wizards of the Coast and as a splash artist for Hi-Rez Studios.

Ilse Gort completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Game Art at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht), from 2010 to 2014.
