Zack Stella

Zack Stella has a diverse and extensive work experience as a professional freelance illustrator and designer. Zack started their career in 2007 with Zack Stella Illustrations and later worked as an illustrator and designer at Shapeshifter Scriveners from 2006 to 2018. Zack also had short-term roles as an illustrator for Amscan in 2012, MC Records in 2011, and Musewear from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, Zack joined Wizards of the Coast, where they have held various positions. Zack started as a professional freelance illustrator, creating over a hundred paintings for Magic: the Gathering CCG and digital spot illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons over four books. Zack then advanced to the role of Art Director in Magic Creative and currently holds the position of Senior Art Director since December 2021.

Zack Stella obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from The Art Institute of Boston, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Zack then pursued a Masters of Education in Art Education Grades 5-12 at Lesley University from 2005 to 2007.
