Nick Carneiro

Nick Carneiro is the current Vice President of Engineering at WizeHire. Nick has held this position since July of 2015. Prior to that, they were a software developer at Indeed.com from June 2012 to July 2015. While at Indeed.com, they improved Job Search usability, battled spammers, conducted A/B tests, made JavaScript, Java, Servlets, JSPs, and CSS play nice, and prototyped new products for Indeed Labs. Nick also built the My Jobs product from scratch and became team lead.

Before their time at Indeed.com, Nick Carneiro worked as a software engineering intern at IBM from May 2010 to April 2012. There, they automated business processes with J2EE apps on a WebSphere + db2 stack and built with web analytics tools for developerWorks.

Nick Carneiro is also the owner of Trillworks LLC, which they founded in March 2009 and ran until December 2012. Trillworks LLC is the vehicle for their entrepreneurial projects and ideas, most of which involve web apps and Open Source software.

From May 2008 to January 2010, Nick Carneiro was a research intern at the Institute for Advanced Technology.

Nick Carneiro has a BS in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
