Juan Pablo Avon is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in IT operations, automation, and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Automation, IT Operations & Security at Wizeline, Avon leads global IT operations and security initiatives while driving process innovation and AI adoption. Previously, as Director of Information Technology at Higuerón Resort, Avon successfully implemented Oracle Netsuite ERP and developed a comprehensive digital ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency. During a long tenure at Globant, Avon held multiple leadership roles, including Global Infrastructure and IT Services Director, where strategic planning and management of emerging technologies were paramount. Avon's career began in the late 1990s, including roles at Lumen Technologies, Telecom Argentina, and Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, supported by a Communications Engineering degree from UADE and earlier technical education in electronics.
