Vasyl Melnychuk

Vasyl Melnychuk is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Group CTO at Wizz Financial since March 2022, Vasyl oversees a multi-dimensional technology transformation across 25 financial institutions in MENA, India, and the US, focusing on leadership, recruitment, cloud infrastructure, and information security. Prior to this role, Vasyl was Head of Technology at Access Microfinance Holding AG, driving digital transformation for a global workforce of 7,000. Previous positions include CIO at AccessBank Azerbaijan, where Vasyl managed operations and digital initiatives, and Director of IT Audit and Advisory Service at Baker Tilly (Ukraine). Vasyl's career also encompasses notable roles at Volksbank Ukraine, Afghanistan International Bank, ING Bank Ukraine, and UnexBank, complemented by a Master’s degree in Finance and a specialization in Computer Science.
