Brendan Robertson is an accomplished sports media professional with extensive experience in sports direction and anchoring across multiple news channels. Currently serving as Sports Director and Media Specialist at WJBF News Channel 6 since July 2018, and as Sports Director and Anchor for WRBL CBS News 3 since August 2016, Brendan has a strong track record of producing, writing, shooting, editing, and anchoring engaging sports stories that resonate with local audiences. Previous roles include Sports Director and Sports Anchor at NBC 26 WAGT from January 2009 to April 2016, where responsibilities included live sports coverage and management of the station's online presence. Brendan's career commenced as Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of South Carolina Aiken, contributing to the dissemination of sports information at the collegiate level. Brendan holds two Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Media Studies from the University of South Carolina Aiken and the University of South Carolina.

WJBF NewsChannel 6 signed on in Augusta, Georgia as an ABC affiliate in November 1953 and is owned by Nexstar Media Group. WJBF–TV has been awarded the prestigious "Station of Year"​ award by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters in 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, and 2003. This prestigious award recognizes WJBF for excellence in broadcasting and service to the community. Our Mission Statement: To envision our responsibilities to the community and act.
