Margaret-Ann Carter is an accomplished broadcast journalist with extensive experience in news anchoring and reporting. Currently serving as the Morning News Anchor at FOX Carolina since June 2019, Margaret-Ann previously held roles as a weekend anchor and reporter at WJTV 12 since June 2016 and as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WJBF News Channel 6, starting in May 2014. Margaret-Ann began the career in journalism as an intern at WSB-TV during the summer of 2013, where skills were honed through research support for various news stories. Prior to the journalism career, employment included positions as a Sales Associate at Dazzles Prom and Pageant Attire and as a Project Assistant at Pierce, Herns, Sloan & Wilson, LLC. Margaret-Ann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.

WJBF NewsChannel 6 signed on in Augusta, Georgia as an ABC affiliate in November 1953 and is owned by Nexstar Media Group. WJBF–TV has been awarded the prestigious "Station of Year"​ award by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters in 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, and 2003.
