Alexis Walters

Alexis Walters is an experienced journalist and meteorologist currently serving as the Evening News Anchor and weekend morning meteorologist at WKBN-TV since March 2019. Prior to this role, Alexis worked as a Weather Forecaster at WYTV from July 2017 to March 2019 and gained experience as a Meteorology Intern at WKBN-TV in the summer of 2016, where responsibilities included practicing weather forecasting and updating social media and website content. Alexis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast & Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University, completed in 2020, as well as dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Applied Communication and Broadcast Journalism from Kent State University, awarded in 2016.
