Betsy Kling is an accomplished Chief Meteorologist and anchor at WKYC Studios, where Betsy has been a key figure since March 2003, leading multiple programs including 3News at 5 and 3News at 7 alongside prominent anchors Jay Crawford and Russ Mitchell. Additionally, Betsy co-anchors Northeast Ohio's top-rated 11 PM newscast with Russ Mitchell. Betsy has a strong background in meteorology and journalism, holding a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Meteorology from Bowling Green State University and a Certification in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Prior to WKYC Studios, Betsy served in various meteorological roles, including as Chief Meteorologist and anchor at WTLV/WJXX - TV and as a Weekend Meteorologist at WKJG-TV.
