Carmen Blackwell serves as an Anchor and Reporter at WKYC Studios since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Reporter for Fox Television Stations from March 2018 to March 2021, where contributions included breaking news LIVE shots for "Fox and Friends," and Morning Anchor and Reporter at FOX10 Phoenix, performing multiple LIVE shots daily for the morning show "AZAM - Arizona Morning." Carmen also worked as a Morning Anchor and Reporter at KALB-TV from October 2016 to February 2018 and completed a news internship at KNOE-TV8 in 2015. Carmen is a recipient of the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Scholarship and received accolades for best TV news feature reporting and newscasting during academic tenure at the University of Louisiana Monroe, where a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism was obtained.
