Alexa Newton

Alexa Newton is an experienced engineer specializing in new product development and quality assurance, currently employed at W. L. Gore & Associates since August 2017, where responsibilities include advancing product innovation and maintaining quality standards. Prior to this role, Alexa served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Drexel University, contributing to research on polymer surface patterning and sample preparation techniques. Previous positions also include roles as a Chemistry Co-Op and a Product and Market Development Co-Op, where skills in material characterization and testing methodologies were developed. Alexa holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, completed in 2017.
