Penelope Bower

Penelope Bower is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Head of Legal and Property at Waste Management NZ Ltd since January 2020. Previously, Penelope held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Oji Fibre Solutions from September 2015 to January 2020 and was Group Legal Counsel at Southpark Corporation from November 2013 to September 2015. Earlier legal roles include Locum Solicitor at McClymont & Associates and Solicitor at Curry Popeck. Penelope began their career as an Associate at Simpson Grierson. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership from The University of Waikato, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University, along with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from The University of Auckland.
