Jake S

Jake S has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cyber threat intelligence and law enforcement. Jake is currently working as a Threat Intelligence Manager at WMC Global, where they manage a team of analysts and hunters, develops new products, and collaborates with the Research and Development team. Previously, Jake served as a Senior Threat Hunter at WMC Global, where they dealt with credential phishing attacks, delivered talks at international conferences, and produced intelligence products for clients. Jake also worked at Sussex Police as a Special Constable, leading the Coaching and Mentoring team. Additionally, Jake was an Academic Advisor at Security Blue Team, an Information Security Analyst at American Express, an Advanced Threat Investigator at CGI, and a Phone Examination Investigator at Hampshire Constabulary. Jake began their career as a Supervising Manager at Compass Group LTD, where they managed retail bars and a coffee shop. Jake has a combination of technical skills in cyber threat intelligence tools and technologies and experience in investigating and presenting evidential data in court.

Jake S attended Bishop Luffa CofE School from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their GCSEs, AS Level, and A2 Level qualifications. Afterward, they studied at Chichester College from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a BTEC Business Level 3 degree in Business Administration and Management.

In 2014, Jake S began their higher education at the University of Portsmouth, majoring in Forensic Computing. Jake studied there until 2017 and received a degree in Forensic Computing. During their time at the University of Portsmouth, they also pursued a degree in British Sign Language from 2014 to 2015.

Alongside their formal education, Jake S obtained additional certifications. In 2017, they acquired the Nessus Fundamentals certification from Cybrary. Furthermore, in 2019, they obtained the TreadStone 71 Cyber Intelligence Tradecraft Certification from Treadstone 71.
