Aleesa de Castro

Aleesa de Castro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as an Assistant to the Department Head and Partner Agent at WME Independent since January 2024, Aleesa also co-founded and directs the Backlight Student Film Festival, enhancing outreach and overseeing multiple committees. As a co-founder of de Castro Productions, Aleesa provides innovative photo and video content, while previous roles include Vice President at The Industry, UGA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Representative, and Operations Intern at the Producers Guild of America. Aleesa holds a Bachelor's degree in Entertainment and Media Studies from Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
