Joe Branch

Joe Branch has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joe is currently the Head of On-Court Basketball Strategy & Business Development at WME (William Morris Endeavor), a position they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant GM for the Minnesota Timberwolves from September 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining the Timberwolves, Joe worked at Roc Nation (Sports) as the Managing Director, Basketball from October 2014 to September 2019. In this role, they played a key role in building the firm's basketball management business and was involved in player representation. Notably, they negotiated contract extensions for Justise Winslow, NBA Champion Danny Green, and Caris LeVert.

From September 2011 to September 2019, Joe served as an Associate Professor in Sport Sciences at Long Island University. Prior to that, they were a Principal at The Landmark Sports Agency from 2012 to October 2014.

Joe's earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Manager, International Marketing Partnerships at the National Basketball Association from January 2007 to October 2008. Joe began their career at Nike as an Associate Brand Manager, Basketball in GBU East from August 2004 to January 2007.

Joe Branch obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, with a focus on Communication Studies, from Northwestern University. Joe pursued this degree from 1994 to 1998. Later, from 2002 to 2004, Joe pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business.
