Katherine VanHenley

Katherine VanHenley has a long and varied work experience. Katherine began their career in 2004 as Technical Director at Ultimate Shopping Network, where they directed multiple home shopping shows and acted as production supervisor. In 2006, they moved to ESN Interactive as HR Director and AR Manager, developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures, administering benefits to employees, and serving as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers. From 2010 to 2017, they held various roles at Northern Burgers, LLC dba Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Orchid Bay, LLC, Third & Wall Art Group, and Global Business Management, including Franchise Coordinator, Property Manager, Accounting Manager, and Bookkeeper. From 2011 to 2019, they were Co-Founder of Blossom Parties and Marketing Manager at Tinkit, LLC. Most recently, in 2022, they began a voluntary role as Seattle Chapter Board of Directors - Communications Chair at IAMCP.

Katherine VanHenley completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Chapman University between 1997 and 2001. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Los Angeles City College for Creative Writing. In 2008, they took a course in the Art of the Short Story with Paul Mandelbaum at UCLA Extension - Custom Programs & Corporate Education. Katherine also took a course in Commercial Women's Fiction with Megan Crane at UCLA Extension - Custom Programs & Corporate Education in 2009.
