Laura Carr

As Chief Advisory Officer, Laura leads the firms’ team of advisors serving the client families. The advisory team helps families navigate the complexities of their wealth through sophisticated planning and investing. She is a member of the firm’s Management Committee which is responsible for the day to day management of the firm as well as the Planning, Marketing, CyberSecurity and Investment Committees.

Laura’s career spans more than 30 years; most recently she was with PNC Wealth Management, where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer working with senior leadership to coordinate the planning, execution, and oversight of key management initiatives, including budgeting, risk management, strategy, operations, reporting, and client solutions. Prior to this role, Laura was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Asset Management leading key administrative and operational activities involving the division’s outsourced CIO services, retirement plan services and proprietary institutional asset management businesses. Laura began her career at Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company and over her nearly three-decade career held numerous leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Institutional Asset Management Group, Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for Institutional Investments, and Director of Business Administration for Investments and Wealth Management.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and her MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
