Michael Mitsch (Mick)

Michael (Mick) Mitsch is an accomplished musician and songwriter with extensive experience in various musical genres, including pop, jazz, rock, bluegrass, classical, and traditional styles from Hungary, Gaelic, and Germany. As the owner of LagansLove LLC since May 1999, Michael has showcased talents as a songwriter and performer, while also contributing as a cantor for Resurrection Parish since 1997, leading congregations in ceremonies with a tenor voice. Additional roles include television director and cameraman for the Folk Project of NJ and hosting a monthly radio show on WMSC-FM, where Michael conducts interviews with musical guests. Michael's dedication to the community is reflected in the fundraising efforts during tenures as the Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus 5560. Compositions span various works such as "Bogs of Mayo," "Freedom's Like Flying," and "Christmas Crystals," highlighting a diverse creative portfolio. Education in music includes participation in a bodhrán summer school program.
