Meredith Shimer is a seasoned journalist and multimedia professional, currently serving as the Weekend Morning News Anchor/MMJ at WNDU-TV since October 2025. Prior to this, Meredith held the position of Weekend Anchor/MMJ at WBKO News from January 2024 to October 2025, producing and anchoring weekend shows while also fulfilling multimedia journalist duties for nightly broadcasts. Meredith's background includes a substantial tenure as a Museum Interpreter at Connecticut Landmarks, where excellence in customer service and membership sales was demonstrated. Additional experiences include roles in sustainability initiatives at American University, editorial contributions to District Fray Magazine, and leadership and tutoring positions at DC Reads. Meredith earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from American University in May 2023.
