Melanie Zhang

Melanie Zhang is an experienced leader in radio and design, currently serving as the General Manager of WNYU Radio since October 2022, overseeing all operations for the station and its numerous departments. In addition to this role, Melanie hosts a weekly radio show and previously worked as the Associate Music Director, managing outreach efforts for music and promotional opportunities. Melanie also holds the position of Chief of Design at NYU Baedeker, where collaboration with designers resulted in polished publications. Further artistic contributions were made as Art Director at qstn, focusing on brand identity for a blockchain startup. As a co-founder and lead software developer at Brio Tech, Melanie was instrumental in revolutionizing household automation through a hands-on approach to business operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Psychology, and Design from New York University, expected in 2025.
