Calhoun Kennedy

Calhoun Kennedy has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as General Manager Sales for Construction Products at Consolidated Systems from 1989 to 1997. In this position, they were responsible for managing over $65 million in annual sales, hiring and developing a team, and overseeing their largest account, Reynolds Metals.

Following that, Kennedy worked as a Financial Consultant at Smith Barney from 1997 to 2003. During this time, they were part of a team that managed over $125 million in assets and developed a personal client investment portfolio from scratch.

Most recently, Kennedy has been associated with Wofford College since 2003. They held various positions during their tenure, including Associate VP & Executive Director for Advancement. In this role, they dramatically expanded funding sources, donor portfolios, and philanthropic programming to support the college's student body, activities, and facilities. Kennedy consistently achieved or exceeded goals by collaborating with different departments.

Currently, Kennedy serves as the Vice President for Philanthropy + Engagement at Wofford College, a position they started in March 2022.

Calhoun Kennedy received their High School Diploma from Hammond School in 1985. Then, they attended Wofford College from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Business Economics.
