Godwins Tuyishime is currently serving as a Data and Information Fellow at Wofford College and has held multiple leadership roles, including Alumni Relations and Engagement Chair for the Association of Multicultural Students and Student Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Research. As Lead Researcher, Godwins is continuing a summer research project focused on improving the accuracy of results derived from datasets with dependency structures. Previous experience includes serving as the Officer of Diversity and Inclusion for Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc., where collaboration with diverse organizations aimed to foster an equitable campus environment. Godwins also worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Oncocyte Corporation, handling data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and developing a web scraping program using Python for literature reviews. Godwins has been involved in research on Bayesian False Discovery Control and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Math minor and a concentration in Data Science at Wofford College.
