Terry Wohlers

Terry Wohlers is a distinguished expert in advanced manufacturing, currently serving as a Distinguished Fellow at Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International, since January 2025. Previously, Terry held the position of Head of Advisory Services and Market Intelligence at the ASTM Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence from October 2021 to April 2025 and was the Principal Consultant & President at Wohlers Associates from November 1986 to October 2021. With extensive consulting experience for over 280 organizations across 27 countries, Terry was recognized in 2007 as the most influential person in rapid product development and additive manufacturing by over 1,000 industry professionals. Terry holds an Honorary Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Central University of Technology, a Master's in Industrial Sciences from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor's in Industrial Technology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
