Jill Peet

Jill Peet is a seasoned planning policy professional with extensive experience in local government. Currently serving as Planning Policy Manager at Woking Borough Council since October 2023, Jill previously held the same title at Swale Borough Council from August 2018 to October 2023, and served as Principal Planning Officer (Strategic Planning) during that time. Jill began a career in planning at Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, where the role of Senior Planning Officer (Policy) was undertaken from March 2004 to July 2018. Throughout this career, Jill has been instrumental in preparing and monitoring Local Plans, commissioning and preparing supporting evidence across various planning domains, and assessing development sites. Jill holds a Master's degree in Town Planning and a BA(Hons) in Town Planning from Newcastle University.
